When wedding planning, the ceremony doesn’t always make it on the todo list. That is why you have chosen a celebrant, it is my only priority!

As you share your story with me, I will actively listen to what is most important to you and your relationship. How you describe your love for each other and what you hope for in a lifelong marriage will be the foundation of your ceremony. 

Your ceremony should be about you and your love story. 

It is through this process I will guide you on what you have pictured for your day, wedding elements, rituals you may want to include and of course your vows, the heart of your ceremony. Your vows make up your commitments and promises of what you want your marriage to look like. 

There is freedom to include any of your own beliefs and cultural traditions. 

Scripting a thoughtful ceremony that tells your unique love story is an incredible honour. You will be brought into this process from beginning to end allowing your unique voice to be heard. 

On your wedding day I will conduct the ceremony and provide you with the most personal, momentous experience you could imagine. 

We have to make sure we are the right fit. So, first things first: let's meet! 

At this intial no-obligation meeting, we will connect either in person or by video chat to make sure I am the right celebrant/officiant for your special day. In that initial meeting, we will get to know one another a little bit so I can hear your vision for your ceremony. 

This is done so I can begin to capture your story and the feel you would like for your wedding. 

If we have made the connection you are looking for, then I will begin to collect as much information as I can. Yes, that means you have to take the time and write. (This is the homework part).  In order to write your one-of-a-kind ceremony, I will need as much info on your love story as I can get. 

Many couples have said that remembering the details of their relationship and writing them out was one of their favourite parts of preparing for the wedding. At this point, we will also discuss any ceremony elements: rituals (candle lighting, unity knot, etc.), music, or other participants that you may want to include. 

There is also freedom to include any of your own beliefs and cultural traditions. I will do my best to help you decide what you would like to include and weave this into your ceremony.

Then comes the fun part for me: writing your story! Scripting a thoughtful ceremony that tells your unique love story is an incredible honour. You will be brought into this process as it is being created to allow your unique voice to be heard. 

Throughout my time creating your ceremony, you will have unlimited access to email me questions, additional thoughts on your ceremony, or details to include in your script. Any final edits will be made before we meet at the rehearsal.

If you are planning on having a rehearsal, which I strongly advise, I will be there to run the rehearsal and make sure the wedding party, flower kids, family members or anyone else that is involved with the ceremony is queued and ready for the big day.  

I will arrive 30 min before the ceremony to answer any final questions, and then...the time that you have been waiting for! I will conduct the ceremony and provide you with the most personal, momentous wedding ceremony you could imagine.
