About Deanna
Some of my favourite things are my family, being outside, and getting the privilege of hearing people's stories. I discovered at a young age that everyone has a story, and a desire to know those stories quickly grew. I believe people are fascinating: when asked the right questions, they are able to unlock a vault of experiences and life details that need to be heard and celebrated.
After various careers and starting my family, I was asked by a good friend to officiate their wedding. What I discovered was that I could marry my passion for people and my respect for their stories into one role, that of being a celebrant. Becoming a life-cycle celebrant has sparked a new fire of joy in my life. What an honour to get to know people, hear their intimate stories, and find exciting ways to tell them!
